Warning! Text Messaging Scam Alert

Member have received text messaging scams from the “Credit Union’s National Association” and the "National Credit Union Association". They are “message alerts” and directs the members to call a specified telephone number. When the number was called, members were asked to give personal information including last four digits of the social security number, account number, debit card number, CVV number, and PIN number.

DO NOT FALL PREY TO THIS SCAM
• Never provide your personal information in response to an unsolicited request. Neither we (Pinnacle Credit Union) nor any of our third party providers (for example VISA) will ever ask a member to disclose account or other personal information via text message. If you receive a similar text message call Pinnacle Credit Union as soon as possible.
